Description

Connect existing traffic signal controllers to the existing City's SONET ring node at Fred Wilson & US–54. Expand existing City's SONET ring and send CCTV video to TransVista (TxDOT). Connect CCTV video from Lee Trevino and George Dieter to Joe Battle (Loop 375) & Montana (US–62/180). Connect CCTV video from Lee Trevino and George Dieter to Joe Battle (Loop 375) & Montana (US–62/180), and City's SONET node ring expansion to Montana (US–62/180) & Airway. Expand existing City's SONET ring and send CCTV video to TransVista (TxDOT). Connect at US–54 & Hondo Pass to communicate several CCTVs at Dyer (BU–54) & Hondo Pass. Fiber optic cable at Loop 375 connect from existing cabinet hub at Dyer (BU–54) to existing ECUV located at US–54. Connect fibers from existing City's SONET node at LP375/Bob Hope and LP375/North Loop connect thru existing fiber patch at TransVista (TxDOT) panel with SONET nodes in server room. Install COEP sonnet node and connect to existing patch panel with City's equipment and fiber. Installation of additional equipment and fiber necessary to connect CCTV video cameras installed on several places along Airway and Airport. Using fiber optic cable on IH–10 to connect the hub cabinet on Mesa (SH–20) to the interconnect cabinet at Redd Rd. Using fiber optic cable at Redd Rd. to connect the interconnect cabinet at IH–10, DMS Redd Rd, and CCTV at Doniphan (SH–20). Using fiber optic on Doniphan to connect the hub at the intersection with Mesa to the cabinet at Sunset. Using fiber optic cable on Mesa (SH–20) to connect IH–10 to the hub cabinet at Doniphan (SH–20). Using fiber optic cable on Mesa (SH–20) to connect the intersection of Resler & Mesa to the hub cabinet at IH–10 & Mesa. SONET node to be installed at existing cabinet at Mesa (SH–20) & Executive. Use existing communications copper cable on Mesa (SH–20) to connect the intersection of Brentwood to the cabinet at Executive. Connect to fiber optic cabinet at Resler & Mesa to expand COEP fiber ring. COEP TMC relocation from City Hall to the Municipal Service Center. Existing strands redirected to the COEP interconnect cabinet located on Franklin/Campbell back to the COEP MSC using the fiber optic strands previously assigned.
